About Gary:

• I discovered Northern Michigan just after graduation from college in the 70's and then moved to the Boyne area where I started a real estate career in 1986. Among the many reasons for my choice are the casual friendly feel of the community, beautiful hills, streams and lakes as well as the proximity to Boyne Mountain Resort, Lake Charlevoix and Walloon Lake – all of which are well known for their recreational activities year round. Since my arrival I have become very knowledgeable of the area and its many offerings. I now believe that this is one of the finest areas in the world in which to live and work.
• I am active in local community events, the Boyne City Chamber of Commerce, Boyne Thunder, and the local Association of Realtors along with being Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Resort Properties. The RE/MAX system and its name recognition has proved to be an excellent venue for allowing my business to grow and flourish. I recently have taken on a sales partner, Ole Ellstrom, to help me expand our ability to help the ever growing numbers of families moving to our neighborhood. Ole brings years of sales experience to the table. He's good listener and a great friend.
• I relish the opportunity to help my clients meet or exceed their real estate needs with the added bonus of becoming their friend in the process. Statistics show that past clients and customers are my greatest source of referrals.
• In 2008 I received the “Luxury Home Marketing Institute” designation as a specialist to better evaluate and market waterfront, vacation and residential properties. The focus is on all sports lakes including Lake Charlevoix, Walloon Lake, Deer Lake and Six Mile Lake.
